MATE project kick-off meeting
MATE – An innovative, Student-Centered Approach to Intercultural Skills Acquisition for Students and Young Migrant” is an Erasmus+ project, aiming at enhancing intercultural co-existence and interaction among students and young people in general. Combating hate speech, identifying hate speech and racism online and offline, training students to train their peers in accepting diversity are some of the main objectives of MATE project.
The project involves partners from Cyprus (MMC- Mediterranean Management Center Ltd and Cyprus University of Technology), Greece (@Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Spain (@University of Alicante), France (Eurocircle – Centre d’information Europe Direct Provence) and Austria (FH JOANNEUM). MMC coordinates the project.
The kick-off meeting took part in Nicosia, on 3-4 December 2018, at MMC’s premises.
