Στο πλαίσιο της υφιστάμενης Συμφωνίας Επιστημονικής Συνεργασίας του ΑΠΘ με το Charles University της Πράγας, Τσεχίας, παρελήφθη η παρακάτω αλληλογραφία με το συνημμένο της.

Αφορά ανακοίνωση διοργάνωσης του Summer Seminar on Nationalism, Religion and Violence 2018 (18 – 29 Ιουνίου 2018) και απευθύνεται σε προπτυχιακούς και μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές καθώς και σε νέους ερευνητές.

The Summer Seminar on Nationalism, Religion and Violence 2018 which is organized by Charles University, Prague and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and supported by the University of Birmingham, the Humboldt University of Berlin, the French Research Center in Humanities and Social Sciences (CEFRES) and the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) is ready to launch its sixth year. We would like to ask you for your support in promoting this event.

Keynote speaker: Prof. Stathis Kalyvas (Gladstone Professor of Government, University of Oxford)

Guest of Honour: Paul Shapiro (USHMM Director for International Affairs)

FINAL DEADLINE: 30 APRIL 2018

A key goal of the Summer Seminar, taking place in Prague between June 18-29, 2018, is to contribute in a substantial way to the study of violence and to catalyze the growth of the study of violence as a field. It is led by international researchers from universities and institutions with an excellent reputation such as the Humboldt University of Berlin, Central European University (Budapest), the University of Birmingham, the University of Manchester, the University of Pennsylvania, Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest) and the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The seminar targets highly motivated students, particularly graduate students of Political Science, History, Anthropology, International Relations, International Law, Journalism and other related disciplines, as well as post-docs and professional activists.
